Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone on your iPhone and make sure Clarity Notes is toggled on. The app requires microphone access to record audio.
Transcription time depends on recording length and current server load. Short recordings (under 5 minutes) usually complete within 30–60 seconds. Longer recordings may take a few minutes. Make sure you have an active internet connection and the app is open while processing.
Try deleting the note and recording again. If the problem persists, check your internet connection and make sure the backend server URL in Settings is correct. You can also contact us at the address below.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → select Clarity Notes and choose to cancel. You will keep access until the end of the current billing period.
The free plan includes 1 note with full transcription, AI summary, speaker detection, and action items. Clarity Notes PRO removes this limit and gives you unlimited notes.
Swipe left on a note in the notes list and tap Delete, or open the note and use the delete option in the menu.
Audio is uploaded to our backend to generate your transcript and summary. Notes and generated content are stored locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
If you are testing on a real device connected to your own backend, make sure you enter the Mac's LAN IP address (e.g. http://192.168.x.x:3000) in Settings → Backend Server — the device cannot reach localhost.
