Audio recordings — recordings you create in the app are uploaded to our backend server to generate transcripts, summaries, speakers, and action items.
Transcripts and notes — generated text, summaries, metadata, and related note content are processed to deliver the app experience.
Device and purchase status — anonymous device state and App Store subscription status may be used to provide access to paid features.
Usage data — anonymous technical and usage information may be used to maintain and improve the app experience.

2. Audio Recordings

When you record or upload audio, the file is sent to our backend server and transcription providers for processing. Audio is used to create your transcript and AI-generated note content.

To transcribe recordings and generate AI-powered meeting notes
To create summaries, speaker sections, key points, and action items
To provide and manage Clarity Notes AI PRO features
To maintain, debug, and improve the quality of our service

4. Data Storage

Your notes are stored locally on your device. Audio files and generated processing results may also be stored on our backend as needed to complete transcription, summary generation, synchronization, and support operations.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party AI and transcription services to process recordings and note content. Audio and text may be sent to these services only as needed to provide transcription, summaries, and related AI features.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not display advertisements. We share data only with service providers required to operate Clarity Notes AI or when required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Clarity Notes AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
