Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 13, 2026

1. Summary

LED Banner is a utility application that turns your iPhone into a scrolling LED sign for concerts and events. We collect the minimum amount of information needed to operate the app and respect your privacy by design.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

3. Microphone (Mood Mode Only)

Mood Mode is an optional feature that drives ambient screen colors from ambient sound (claps, music). The microphone is used only while Mood Mode is active. Audio is processed entirely on-device to compute an amplitude value. Audio is never recorded, never stored, and never transmitted off the device. You can revoke microphone permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.

4. Subscription Status

To deliver Pro features, the app receives your anonymous subscription state from Apple App Store via our purchase processor (RevenueCat). This signal does not contain your Apple ID, name, email, or payment details. We use it only to unlock paid features.

5. Anonymous Analytics (Opt-Out Available)

We use TelemetryDeck for anonymous, privacy-preserving analytics — for example, how often a mode is opened or which animation is most used. These signals do not contain personal data, identifiers, IP addresses, or any way to single you out. You can disable analytics at any time in Settings → Share anonymous analytics.

6. Local Storage

Your editor settings (text, colors, animations, templates) are stored locally in iOS UserDefaults on your device. We do not back this data up to our servers — it stays on your device.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share any user information. We do not run advertising. Payment processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat; their respective privacy policies apply to those transactions.

8. Children's Privacy

LED Banner is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
